Since 1970, the Arts Council has served communities in the Upper Catskills by supporting and creating opportunities for area artists and arts organizations. The council has become a centerpiece of the regional arts landscape, working on behalf of the creative community.
We directly provide or facilitate artistic presentations to over 20,600 people in the region. Secondary audiences that enjoyed the free concerts, exhibitions and classes our activities help create bring the total to approximately 120,000.
